CherryActive Ripple Ice Cream


This recipe provides a very healthy alternative to manufactured ice cream. It is 100% natural and contains no added sugar. The recipe is suitable for vegetarians, and can be adapted for vegans by using water instead of milk. Enjoy!

Utensils:

  • Blender
  • Tuppaware container
  • Fork

Ingredients:

  • Cashew Nuts
  • Milk / Water
  • CherryActive Concentrate

Method:

  1. Blend up Cashew nuts with milk / water into a thick cream
  2. Pour into a Tuppaware container and lay flat
  3. Spoon on CherryActive Concentrate
  4. Take a fork and twirl only once through the CherryActive Concentrate to create a ripple effect
  5. Put into the freezer for 3-4 hrs
  6. Enjoy!

CherryActive Ice Lollies


This recipe provides an all natural and great tasting healthy treat for all the family. The preparation is simple and fun! Enjoy!

Utensils:

  • Mixing bowl
  • Ice Lolly mould
  • Ice lolly sticks

Ingredients:

  • CherryActive Concentrate
  • Fresh Lemon / Lime juice / Orange juice
  • Water

Method:

  1. Mix CherryActive Concentrate with water in the ratio of 1-4
  2. Add a twist of your chosen citrus fruit juice
  3. Pour into Ice Lolly moulds and insert stick
  4. Place carefully in freezer until fully set (over night is best)
  5. Enjoy!

CherryActive Breakfast Smoothie


This recipe provides a delicious and perfect nutritious start to everyone’s day! It contains all of the micro and macro nutrients required for healthy living. For hard training athletes, simply adjust protein and oats quantity to meet your level of activity.

Utensils:

  • Blender / Smoothie Maker

Ingredients:

  • 40-60g Porridge Oats
  • 30ml CherryActive Concentrate
  • 15ml Omega Oil Blend (3, 6 & 9)
  • Table spoon Peanut Butter
  • 1 x scoop Chocolate flavour Whey protein / Soya protein / Milk Protein
  • 250ml milk / water (to taste/consistency).

Method:

  • Place all ingredients into smoothie maker / blender and blend until smooth.
  • Serve and enjoy!

CherryActive Fruit Blast Smoothie


Enjoy a healthy treat with this all natural smoothie! Packed full of goodness, this smoothie will boost your energy levels and give you that healthy glow!

Utensils:

  • Blender / Smoothie Maker

Ingredients:

  • 1 x medium Banana
  • ½ Mango
  • 250ml Fresh Orange Juice
  • 20-30ml CherryActive Concentrate
  • Ice cubes

Method:

  • Place all of the ingredients together and blend until smooth
  • Serve and enjoy!

CherryActive Breakfast Cereal


This is a quick and complete breakfast that provides you with all the right fuel to start your day and it’s totally delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 40-70g Porridge Oats
  • 1 x medium Banana
  • Small handful of CherryActive Dried Cherries
  • 20g Mixed seeds
  • Water
  • Semi-Skimmed / skimmed Milk

Method:

  • Add water to porridge oats and cook gently in a pan until desired consistency
  • Remove oats from heat and pour into a breakfast bowl
  • Chop banana and add to cooked oats
  • Sprinkle CherryActive Dried Cherries and mixed seeds into oats
  • Pour over semi-skimmed / skimmed milk as desired
  • Devour!!

CherryActive Choc-Cherry Cookies


These are delicious, crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside, and very easy to make. The dark chocolate and CherryActive Cherries work really well together - a sort of black forest cookie!

Great for an occasional treat!

Ingredients:

  • 110g/4oz unsalted butter, softened
  • 110g/4oz golden caster sugar
  • 110g/4oz light muscovado sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 170g/6oz plain flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 150g/5oz dark chocolate, cut into small chunks, or dark choc chips
  •  85g/3oz CherryActive Cherries

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 190C/375F/Gas 5.
  2. Beat the butter together with the sugar. Beat the egg together with the vanilla essence and add to the butter mixture.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder and salt. Add the butter and egg mixture and blend well. Mix in the chocolate and CherryActive Cherries.
  4. Make the cookies: line four baking sheets with non-stick baking paper or grease well.
  5. Shape the dough into walnut-sized balls and arrange on the baking sheets, spaced well apart.
  6. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Allow to cool for a few minutes and then transfer to a wire rack.
  7. Enjoy!!
